In several cases lesser-known actresses wore atrocious outfits to last night’s Emmys to get press, and it worked. The others probably think they look good, and by some warped estimates they might. They’re certainly gorgeous women underneath the bad fashion, hair and makeup. In most cases.

Kate Walsh - what is with that striped gown with the big bow under her boobs? At least it’s black so the giant bow is harder to see. She is wearing Zuhair Murad with Neil Lane diamonds worth a million.
Phobe Price - this woman wanted to get on the worst dressed list with that underwear and see through lace getup. Any publicity is good publicity.
Grace Park - pantsuits are not for awards ceremonies unless they’re dressy. This is too casual a look and the shoes don’t even match.
Eva Longoria - Our new writer Ceilidh liked this dress and thought it was cute, but I find it kind of dopey-looking with the bow at the top. Her smoothed down hair and caked on blue eyeshadow are awful.
Debra Messing - this dress is way too Barbie-looking with those frou frou layers.
Jo De La Rosa - Another case of someone trying to get on the worst dressed list and succeeding. I had to google this woman and she’s on “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
Emily de Ravin - a beautiful woman who could have worked any dress, but chose an unfortunate layered blue sack.
Vixen - I don’t know who this woman is and wasn’t able to find out because her name isn’t that unique. Maybe she can change her moniker. It might work better to generate publicity than the stares and mild interest this look elicits.
