Johnny shared a little about his role of the Mad Hatter, saying, "I do like hats. . . There was a certain elegance to the past times that I have appreciation for." Their film comes out in Japan on April 17, while it just achieved a third consecutive weekend at the top of the US box office. Johnny's been working nonstop lately between his promotional duties and filming The Tourist in Venice. His costar Angelina Jolie stayed back in Italy to sightsee with her children and even enjoy a playdate with Johnny's children, Jack and Lily-Rose.

Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway hit the red carpet in London last night for their Royal World Premiere, and they kept the good times going with an afterparty at the Sanderson Hotel. Their director Tim Burton took advantage of the chance to let loose with his longtime love Helena Bonham Carter and their son Billy, who looked adorable in his Stella McCartney for GapKids jacket. Johnny, meanwhile, kept company with Wes Anderson and Terry Gilliam, while Anne stayed close to boyfriend Adam Shulman. Avril Lavigne even joined in on the celebration since she contributed to the film's soundtrack. She left with Deryck Whibley, looking very on again despite the fact that she filed for divorce in October.
