Jennifer Lopez made a grand entrance at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo this evening, escorted by Marc Anthony and wearing a full-length Roberto Cavalli animal print gown. She's been working on her tan aboard the designer's multimillion-dollar yacht off the coast of Monaco between spending time with her family, shopping and partying at Cannes events. Avatar's Michelle Rodriguez posed side by side with Heroes star Hayden Panettiere, who was modeling an up and away hair style and all smiles despite the recent canceling of the show.

Hilton sisters Nicky and Paris made the evening a family affair, posing with their parents before handing out the award for best R&B artist. During the show, J Lo changed into a leg-baring Roberto Cavalli minidress to perform a medley of her hits. Paris Hilton was impressed by J Lo's act, tweeting a congratulatory message from the audience. Lopez later changed into her third Cavalli dress of the night to accept an achievement award for her contribution to music.

Hayden Panettiere was out last night with her massive Ukrainian boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko, for the Earth Day screening of Avatar in LA. Hayden showed off her new haircut, a very short, slicked back ‘do. This girl really changes her appearance all the time, because I thought she was still a blonde. But apparently she’s been brunette for a while now…? So where she was once a cheerleader type with longish blonde hair, she’s now a girl with very short reddish-brown hair. I’m not a short-hair hater, especially if the girl has the face to pull it off - and look how Hayden’s pretty eyes and high cheekbones “pop” now.

I think it looks cute. I’m finding it very Sharon Stone, you know? Especially the way Hayden has it slicked back, which isn’t a look many women can pull off. I don’t really care for the sideburns, but whatever. Maybe that’s what the Ukrainian likes? He doesn’t look like he’s very bright, but I may be prejudiced against giants. By the way, whatever happened to those boob job rumors? If she did have implants, maybe she got them taken out? Because she’s back to looking smallish to me.

This week’s National Enquirer has a story about how Hayden Panttiere was drunk and crying on top of a pool table at a small party earlier this month. Her friends helped her out and made sure she got home safely. The Enquirer is unsure why Hayden would have been so upset, but I bet it had something to do with a certain heavyweight champion of the world, who may have called time on the relationship so he could focus on defending his title. (Which he did with ease over the weekend.)

Hayden Panettiere suffered a meltdown at a recent bash, drunkenly climbing on top of a pool table and breaking down in tears, according to eyewitnesses.

The 20-year-old “Heroes” star “turned into an out-of-control party animal” at the home of Dole Food Company heir Justin Murdock, a fellow partygoer told the Enquirer.

“Hayden was the party guest from hell!” added the source. “She was a complete drunken mess!”

More than a dozen guests, including socialite Nick Hilton and Topher Grace of “That ’70s Show,” attended the March 6 bash hosted by Justin, 37…

“Hayden was sobbing uncontrollably on her hands and knees on top of the pool table with her boobs hanging out of her dress,” said the eyewitness.

“Her girlfriends tried to help her down and pull up her top, but she kept pushing them away.

“Everyone was shocked at how drunk Hayden got.”

A friend finally talked Hayden down from the pool table and made sure she got home safely, said the source. It was unclear why she was so upset.

I’m betting it was all about that hot brick sh*thouse of a man she’s been escorting all around town. She looks like she’s been hitting the town single since around the beginning of March, as I can’t find Klitschko in any photos with her post mid-February. (Plus she was seen out with an ex in early March.) I generally find Hayden insufferable, but I kind of feel for her in this case. She’s only 20, and she could have been hung up on a guy, only to find her heart broken. Still, Hayden is such a snot that she can go to a party with less than 15-20 people and end up having someone blab about how she was wasted and crying on top of a pool table. She’s surely pissed off enough people to earn some back-biting gossip.
