Life & Style’s cover story this week is the pretty much the same damn thing that the tabloids have been saying for months - that Sandra Bullock is going to take Jesse James back, because of the children. Now that Jesse has won the right to take his daughter to Austin, Texas (where Sandra Bullock is staying now), everyone is all in a tizzy about Jesse and Sandra probably being back together:

Since the day Sandra Bullock left husband Jesse James, he has done everything he can to win her back. And now Life & Style can reveal that Jesse’s closer than ever to getting a second chance with Sandra.

“Her heart is open to him again,” an insider tells Life & Style. Sources confirm that Jesse and Sandra are talking — with the excuse that it’s for the sake of the children only.

It’s Sandra’s love for his 6-year-old daughter Sunny who she has been raising as her own child for the past five years — as well as for Jesse’s other children, Chandler and Jesse Jr. — that has finally allowed her to forgive their father.

“Sandra will never fully get over the way Jesse betrayed her,” the insider explains. “But he did give her the family she’s always wanted. And because of that, she’s able to forgive him.”

Jesse has gone as far as relocating his home and businesses to Austin, Texas, where Sandra spends much of her time living with adopted son Louis, 7 months. He recently splurged on a $2 million seven acre mansion that’s just 16 miles away and relocated his business from California to Texas. Jesse’s new workplace, the motorcycle store Austin Speed Shop, is just minutes away from Walton’s Fancy & Staple, a local store Sandra owns.

Even Janine Lindemulder, Sunny’s birth mother, admits that Jesse is desperate to win Sandra back. “He will do anything to get back in her good graces,” Janine tells Life & Style.

I know CB usually covers these stories from the ongoing Sandra Bullock-Jesse James saga, and there’s a reason for that - she gives both Jesse and Sandra the benefit of the doubt, and she’s a lot nicer about this situation than I am. Now, I’m not such a horrible child-hating bitch that I don’t know that bringing children into a marriage changes the dynamics of the marriage, it changes the love you have for your partner, and it changes you as a person. I understand why Sandra is letting Jesse back into her life and into her heart - and I do think it’s mainly about being a step-mom to Sunny and Sandra’s dream of being a parent to baby Louis, with Jesse. All that being said - I’m just disappointed in Sandra. Does she think Jesse has changed? That know that there was a huge scandal, he just got it out of his system? Not so much - he’s still the same whiny, douchey little bitch. I’m not mad at Sandra, I don’t dislike her or anything, I’m just… sad and disappointed.

There’s not a lot of new information in the People cover story this week on Jesse James and Sandra Bullock’s relatively sudden divorce. The piece is your typical People celebrity-friendly story and seems to be holding open the door for a possible reunion, as Kaiser reported when we covered the first excerpt. It includes insider quotes like “[Sandra] believes in a world where couples are together,” and “She loves the idea of raising children together, as a family.” They portray Jesse as a decent guy and a loving father who messed up, and the source claims “Jesse is definitely not giving up hopes to get back with Sandra - and he will do anything he can to get her back.” We’ll see if it works out for him. Given the way People is making this whole mess sound, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sandra is quietly giving him another chance. At least she made the split legal though.

One new detail in the People story is the fact that Jesse James’ first wife, Karla, 50, is also moving to Austin with Jesse. She’s the mother of his two older kids and it makes sense that they would make arrangements for her to live nearby. They write “the two are so close, in fact, that Karla, who lived just a few blocks from James in the L.A. area, has now put her place on the market so she too can relocate to Austin.” It makes you wonder if something is going on there, though. I’ve seen paparazzi photos of Karla and she’s very pretty. Jesse’s other ex wife, Janine Lindemulder, claims that he tried to hook up with her after he was with Sandra. You just know that dog will get some wherever he can.

Meanwhile James’ second ex wife, Janine Lindemulder, is claiming that James is using dirty tricks to try and sabotage her custody case. The two have been fighting for custody of their six year-old daughter, Sunny, and Lindemulder has only recently been granted visitation. Lindemulder told Radar Online that she believes that James is secretly using friends to try and put drugs in her food and drinks in order to ensure that she fails a drug test. Maybe Lindemulder is telling tall tales to cover her drugged-out ass, or maybe James really would stoop that low. I wouldn’t put anything past him, but that story stinks of ass-covering.

James did coerce Lindemulder’s ex husband into giving false information against her to the court. He also just presented the court with a bunch of very damning e-mails that Lindemulder sent his sister in 2008 and 2009. Those are apparently legitimate and make her look more irresponsible than ever. She goes into detail about not being able to care for Sunny and just wanting to get her hands on some painkillers. She writes on February 24, 2009: “I am hybernating in this house and sunny is suffering. I have all the curtains closed and I feel like someone is watching me all the time! all I want to do is keep numbing myself from facing going to jail… I am so depressed, sun is suffering, I can’t even find the energy to play with her. it’s 930 and I don’t even know what she ate today. can mark [your husband] get vicodin? i ran out from the ones my neighbor gave me. can one of you come out to calif.? I miss you

In other e-mails she asks for help figuring out how to beat a drug test. She also discusses whether she should sleep with a guy for $25,000 and writes about taking illegal Ambien and Lunesta from Mexico - in the middle of the afternoon. It’s possible Lindemulder may have cleaned up her act since, but these e-mails make it seem like she is incapable of caring for the girl and needs to at least have court supervision during visits.

As you can see, Sandra Bullock’s “fast divorce” made the cover of this week’s People Magazine. From what I can see, there’s not a lot of new information here, just some stuff about how everything happened so quickly so that little Louis’s adoption wouldn’t get screwed up. They didn’t even get an interview with Sandra, just with some “sources” who are slowly but surely building the case for Sandra and Jesse’s reunion (that’s what it sounds like to me):

Sandra Bullock and Jesse James have finalized their divorce. But that doesn’t mean they have parted ways for good.

Friends tell PEOPLE in this week’s cover story that the exes will continue to be involved in each other’s lives as co-parents of James’ kids Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15. The divorce’s completion also clears the way for Bullock to finalize her adoption of 6-month-old son Louis.

“It’s not like they’re talking every day, but they’re in touch about things,” a source tells PEOPLE. “It really seems like it’s about the kids more than anything.”

For her part, Bullock, 45, has been “chilling out” in New Orleans and Austin with Louis. And James, 41, has made it clear that he plans to move to Austin as well.

“He has a goal,” says a James pal. “He wants his life back, he wants some sense of normalcy and his family back.”

[From People]

Radar also got their hands on some of the documents from the divorce (God knows how, I bet someone in Texas got a bribe). The scans of the documents are here, and here are the basics:

The marriage between Sandra Bullock and Jesse James is officially over, and RadarOnline.com is the first to show you their final decree of divorce.

The documents, which were filed in Texas with the Travis County District Court this past Monday, indicate that “IT IS ORDERED AND DECREED that B.A.S., Petitioner (Bullock), and J.J.G., Respondent (James), are divorced and that the marriage between them is dissolved,” thus ending the Hollywood union just months after James’ numerous affairs surfaced in the tabloids.

Even though the pair began the adoption process for Louis Bardot as a couple, the papers indicate that “there is no child of the marriage,” meaning Bullock is acknowledged as Bardot’s only parent, while James retains custody of his kids he entered into the marriage with, Sunny, Jesse Jr., and Chandler.

The papers indicate that court costs would be charged to the party who incurred them, reflecting what looks like a clean break between the Oscar-winning actress and the West Coast Choppers owner.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the actress has recently been getting acclimated with Bardot and his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana, where she bought a house to get out of the bright spotlight of Tinseltown.

So everybody’s wrung the last drop from this story, it seems. Their divorce decree didn’t have anything about money, which isn’t a big shock. From what I’ve read, they kept their finances separate, even through years of marriage. Jesse didn’t put up a fight with Sandra wanting to adopt Louis as a single parent, and Sandra still gets to spend time with her step-kids. Nothing shocking.

Shock of shocks, Sandra Bullock and Jesse James managed to finalize their divorce totally undercover. According to TMZ’s sources, all the documents were signed last week and everything was filed, blah blah. So the divorce is final now. That seems really fast, doesn’t it? I guess I’m used to California or New York divorces, which can take anywhere from six months to forever. But Jesse and Sandra did it the Texas Way - no guns necessary. Although I’m sure Sandra was considering it.

TMZ has learned Sandra Bullock’s divorce from Jesse James is now a done deal.

Sources tell TMZ both Sandra and Jesse signed the final documents last week. Sealed documents have been filed with the clerk’s office in Travis County, Texas — sources tell us they are the papers making the divorce final.

Sandra filed for divorce back on April 23, saying the marriage “has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.”

And sources say the divorce clears the way for Sandra to complete a single parent adoption.

[From TMZ]

Oh, the adoption could be another reason why everything moved so fast. Because what has it been? The neo-Nazi bimbo eruption was early March. And Sandra told People Magazine that she filed for divorce around that time too. So not even four months to finalize that bad boy. Jesse probably didn’t contest anything because of the adoption, and because Sandra asked him to sit down and shut up.

Now, even though their divorce is final, that isn’t stopping Jesse from buying a place down in Austin, very close to Sandra’s house. Does it mean that they’re getting back together? I don’t know. I’ve said it before, I want Sandra to move on from Jesse in a spectacular fashion, but I think she still has a lot of love for the moron.

The National Enquirer is reporting in a cover story this week that Sandra Bullock is considering reconciling with her serial cheating estranged husband, Jesse James. The good news is that she’s already filed for divorce, but if the Enquirer’s report is accurate Sandra bought Jesse’s probably fake child abuse story and hollow apology on Nightline and is willing to give him another chance. If this is true, I wouldn’t be surprised and I wouldn’t bash her for it, either. Women often return to their cheating and/or abusive husbands hoping they’ll change and be an exception to the almost universal rule. They see the good parts of the men they loved and have a hard time coming to terms with the reality of what their men have done and who they really are.

Here’s what The Enquirer says about it:

“For now, she’s stalling on the divorce,” revealed on friend. “I think she has forgiven Jesse and she is missing the life they built together, particularly now that she has Louis.

“Sandra must be tired of carrying the burden of what happened and probably realizes that she could free herself by forgiving Jesse. I think holding on to the pain by not forgiving him was getting to be too much of a strain on her…”

New mom Sandra was “very moved” by [Jesse's Nightline] interview, divulged a source. “Seeing him so earnest and vulnerable really touched her heart…”

“She’s wrestled with the idea that family life is never going to be as good if they aren’t together,” disclosed the source. “Sandra was incredibly upset that the plans she and Jesse made to raise Louis were turned upside down.

“The truth is she can’t stop thinking about a future when all of them could be one big happy family again.

“Sandra has put the divorce on hold for the time being, but Jesse knows she could have a change of heart and reverse her decision at any moment.”

[From The National Enquirer, print edition, June 28, 2010]

By keeping little Louis a secret for months in the midst of the biggest celebrity scandal this year, Sandra proved that the people in her inner circle aren’t selling her out to the tabloids. This article in The Enquirer could be based on information from Jesse’s ex wife, Janine Lindemulder, who routinely talks to the press and told both Radar Online and In Touch earlier this month that James was working to weasel his way back into Sandra’s heart. We can only hope that this story is either speculative or based on false information from Janine, who is trying to get to Jesse to keep the upper hand in their custody battle. Whatever Janine is doing, it’s not working. We heard last week that Jesse was on board with granting visitation rights for Janine for their six year-old daughter, Sunny. This week he’s claiming that she can’t be trusted alone with Sunny. TMZ reports that his lawyer will go to court today “armed with evidence that his ex-wife Janine Lindemulder is a hard-core drug addict and cannot be trusted with unmonitored visitation.” So is this payback for Janine talking to the press or does Jesse have a legitimate beef with her? She claims to be sober and says she hopes to gain 50/50 custody.

Julie James England has come to Jesse James defense saying that the physical abuse towards him from their father is not false. Jesse James recently opened up about his abusive childhood to ABC s Nightline TV show during an emotional interview about loosing his wife Sandra Bullock due to his cheating and hurtful actions. After returning to his home in Huntington Beach, California from sex rehab Jesse James has returned to his daily routine of work and spending time with his children. On May 27, 2010 Jesse ex-wife Karla James picked up her daughter Chandler along with Jesse s youngest child daughter Sunny for school early this morning. Jesse then emerged from the home with his iPad in hand ready to head to work in his massive truck. Fame Pictures, Inc
