Lauren Conrad was in NYC's Times Square today to pose at an event for Reese's Pieces. She twittered about being up bright and early for hair and makeup, but LC didn't mind too much because she was with good friends. A few of Lauren's other close pals were back home on the West Coast, where Lo Bosworth and Whitney Port let loose at Coachella. Lo took a break from work on the final season of The Hills, which will apparently include lots of drama amid Heidi Montag's claims she was sexually harassed on set. Lauren is far away from all that in more ways than one, as she keeps on promoting her Kohl's line and tending to her literary career.

Lauren Conrad matched her romper and blazer yesterday for a night out at LA's Trousdale nightclub. The Glamour cover girl is home in California after a trip to the East coast to work on her line for Kohl's and promote Sweet Little Lies, and her multitasking is one of the reasons she's doing well in this year's PopSugar 100. Lauren Conrad teamed up with her old costars from The Hills Whitney Port and Lo Bosworth for the May issue of Glamour, which will be on newsstands April 6. LC has been focusing on her book lately, but she found time to strike a few poses - check out more photos - and look back at her best hairstyles from over the years. She also opened up about her friendships, her boyfriend Kyle Howard, and how she deals with so much media attention. LC said:

• On too much attention: "I get very uncomfortable with people watching me. And I know that sounds silly because of the show, but we were filming with people that we’d known for years, and it was a job."
• On Kyle Howard: "I don’t have to clear my movie dates with a filming crew. As soon as I started doing the show, I never had a boyfriend off camera; it wasn’t allowed. So I had a rule: I would date someone for a few weeks, and that was it. Anyway, the first two weeks are the best!"
• On where she'll be in 10 years: "I’ll be 34 - so I probably won’t be clubbing. I’d like to be doing something that makes me happy. Hopefully by then I’ll have settled down with someone."

• On her relationship with Lo and Whitney: "Lo and I had a strong enough friendship that we understood this was our job, and sometimes it was going to be silly, but at the end of the day, we loved each other. Whitney is a very understanding, levelheaded person, which is rare. So I never had a fight with her - but I did with everyone else on that show, about everything."
• On losing friends because of The Hills: "I was very affected by the friendships that I lost. There were people that I really loved and cared about. But the friendships I still had were stronger."
• On her body image: "I never felt a push to be stick thin. I work out and eat healthy, so mostly it’s about being in shape and having energy. But about a year ago, I looked down and thought, I have cellulite. Where did that come from? I went through treatments; [my body] was like, It’s not going anywhere."
