Sheryl Crow is such a woman of mystery. She just announced on her website that she has adopted her second child, a little boy named Levi James. Levi is about five weeks old. He joins big brother Wyatt, who Sheryl adopted with little fanfare in 2007. She really keeps her stuff on the downlow, doesn’t she? No big People Magazine covers, no big interviews in Us Weekly, no big tell-all to Oprah, nothing built up about how she “wants” to this or that. She just goes and does it.

Sheryl Crowe is a mom again!

“I have some exciting news to share with you guys,” the musician announced on her official Web site Friday, “Wyatt has a new little brother!”

Crow, 48, adopted now 3-year-old Wyatt in 2007, and also tells fans, “Levi James was born April 30.”

Congratulations to Sheryl! I was going to talk more about how she seems to be doing everything low-key these days, but I see she’s gearing up for a tour and she’s just released a new single, “Summer Day”. Sheryl Crow was in a tiny yellow bikini earlier today when she hit the beach in the Caribbean with her young son, Wyatt. The 48-year-old mom looks great showing so much skin and is no stranger to breaking out her two-piece - she's gotten lots of practice during getaways to Cabo with her good friends Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox. This trip for Sheryl is a mixture of work and play, since she's scheduled to play a show tomorrow night at the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas. She'll then be on the road for much of the Summer, with stops all around the South before a detour to Canada. There won't be much time for her to check in at the Tennessee farm she just listed for sale, which features an interesting custom kitchen.

Us Weekly gathered its usual suspects last night to celebrate this year's Hot Hollywood issue in LA. Its Icon of the Decade, Jennifer Lopez, had all eyes on her posing with Marc Anthony before heading inside, where the pair let loose with some dirty dancing. Courteney Cox was a bit more covered up for her exercise, while Cougar Town's newest guest star Sheryl Crow sat out the fitness portion of the vacation entirely - instead opting to stay in her bathing suit and lounge by the pool. The trio are in Mexico ahead of Aniston's 41st birthday on Thursday, but it's not a girls trip by any means. David Arquette of course came along and Jennifer's sexy Golden Globes date and costar Gerard Butler is also there! Whether any romance rumors are true or if it's just a friendly trip, Aniston looks like she is having a blast surrounded by people she loves in one of her favorite spots.
