Britney Not Granted Visitation Rights Yet

After spending much of the morning and early afternoon in court trying to figure out details of visitation, Britney and Kevin's lawyers could not come to an agreement. This means that Britney will continue not to be able to see her kids for the time being, but at least Kevin has made it clear through Mark Vincent Kaplan that he wants Brit to be in Sean Preston and Jayden James' life very much. For whatever reason they just couldn't figure out a time, place and monitoring system that works for everyone. Britney also has a new lawyer, Stacy Phillips, after Trope & Trope was finally allowed to leave. While Britney hasn't seen her boys in about six weeks, there are a number of hearings scheduled for the coming weeks, so it sounds like it won't be too much longer until she is allowed monitored visitation.

Whew! Thank God! I was worried that he wouldn't have time to make the event, what with his attaining full-custody of his two kids with Britney Spears, as well as his time-consuming career as a...oh that's right, he doesn't really do anything. How could I forget?

The former back-up dancer/husband to Britney Spears/sometimes rapper will be making an appearance at the Marc Jacobs fashion show tomorrow and I'm remembering that of course he'll be there because he has his own clothing line, "Pair A Dice." He's very relevant in the world of fashion. Back in the day, he explained the significance of dice in the name by saying, "because dice are lucky for us." And by us, I'm guessing he means free-loading sperm-donors. Way to have hearty swimmers, guy.

Britney’s Back In . . . and Out of Court

Britney and Kevin headed back to court this morning for an emergency custody hearing. Britney requested it to ask for therapeutic visitation rights, and of course, showing up is a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, Brit never made it to the actual courtroom and had already left the building when Kevin was sworn in. Her lawyer said, "I don't know whether she'll be here or not. I don't want to delay the hearing." The hearing is supposedly already over, and although Kevin and Brit were not required to be there, it probably would have helped Britney's chances of gaining visitation rights if she actually stayed. Hmmm, I wonder what the judge will do now.

UPDATE: TMZ reports Britney will not receive the requested visitation rights and Kevin will remain with sole custody for now.
